Three girls striving to make a positive difference in Hawaii's healthy habits, sustainability, and early education
As part of our 2015 Y.E.S. Futures project, we implemented a garden at Mililani Waena Elementary School with the help of the Kokua Foundation's Aina in Schools Program. Besides hosting a build day, we have successfully taught two garden lessons to preschool classes, in which we planted our two 4' x 8' beds with lettuce. Our garden has been growing for about three weeks and is thriving!
